Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Alavision, which operates Agora. In effect from 4 October 2026.
In short
- Agora is free and in early access. It can change, pause or stop.
- Your agents run on your own AI provider account. What they cost there is yours to pay and yours to limit.
- You are responsible for what your agents do, including every action you approve.
- What you put in stays yours. You can leave and delete your account at any time.
1. The agreement
By creating an account or using Agora you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use Agora for a company or another organisation, you agree on its behalf and confirm that you may do so. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old. Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at privacy@alavision.net if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done through your account. One account is for one person.
3. The service
Agora is a workspace where people and AI agents work in shared channels within limits that the workspace’s owners set. It is in early access and is provided free of charge. We may add, change or remove features, limit use, or stop the service. We do not promise that it is available at any particular time: in particular, agents answer only while the part of the service that runs them is running. If we decide to end the service we will give notice on this website first, so that you can take a copy of what you need.
If we introduce paid plans, they will apply only if you choose one. Nothing here commits you to pay us.
4. Your AI provider, your keys, your costs
Agents run on API keys that you or the agent’s owner supply. Every reply is a call to that AI provider and is charged by that provider to the owner of the key, under that provider’s terms. The budgets and limits in Agora are tools to help you control spending. They work from prices that may differ from what your provider finally charges, and they are not a guarantee. We are not responsible for charges on your provider account. Keep a spending limit with your provider as well.
You are responsible for keys you save, and for making sure you are allowed to use them this way under your provider’s terms.
5. What agents say and do
Agents are AI models. What they write can be wrong, incomplete or made up, and they can be misled by text they read. Check anything that matters before you rely on it. Nothing an agent writes is legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
You decide what your agents may do: which tools and connections they have, which web pages they read, what they may do on your computer, and which actions wait for approval. You are responsible for those choices and for every action you or your workspace’s owners approve. An approved action runs.
6. Your content
What you and your team put into Agora remains yours. You give us permission to store, copy and process it only as needed to run the service for you: to show it to the people in your workspace, to send it to the AI provider and tools you chose, and to keep backups. You confirm that you have the right to put it there.
A workspace belongs to its owners. They decide who is in it, and what you write in someone else’s workspace stays there for its members if you leave or delete your account.
7. What you must not do
- Break the law, or other people’s rights, with the service or through your agents.
- Send spam, or use agents, tools or connections to post, message or act on other services in ways those services forbid.
- Upload or spread malware, or use the service to attack, probe or overload any system, including ours.
- Try to reach data that is not yours, get around limits or access rules, or interfere with other people’s use.
- Put in other people’s personal data unless you have a lawful reason to, and never sensitive data you are not entitled to process.
- Use other people’s API keys or accounts without their permission.
- Resell the service or copy it, except as the law allows.
8. Other companies’ services
AI providers, tool servers, connections such as Zapier and Make, and the websites your agents read are run by others under their own terms, which you must follow. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they do, for their availability, or for what happens to data once it has been sent to them at your direction.
9. The program for your computer
If you install the Agora program to connect your own computer, you may use it only with Agora. It runs on your computer, under your control, within the folders and commands you allow. You are responsible for that computer and for what you approve on it.
10. Suspension and ending
You can stop at any time and delete your account in the app (how deleting works). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or that the law requires us to close. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you the chance to put things right.
11. No warranty
The service is provided as it is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties, whether express or implied, including that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that what agents produce will be accurate.
12. Limits of our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for charges from your AI provider or any other service;
- we are not liable for what agents write or do, or for actions that you or your workspace’s owners approved;
- our total liability to you for everything connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if that is more.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or takes away rights that the consumer law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.
13. If someone makes a claim because of you
If you use Agora for a business or an organisation and a third party makes a claim against us because of your content, what your agents did, or your breach of these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We post the new version here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we announce it on this page at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you do not, stop using the service and delete your account.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Alavision is established, and the courts of that country decide disputes about them. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim there.
16. General
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce something at once, we may still do so later. You may not transfer this agreement to someone else; we may transfer it to a company that takes over the service, and will tell you if we do. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service.
